Steter Stich 1 und 2 (Continuous Stitch 1 and 2)

I begin to sew a cardboard lid in vertical and horizontal rows using white wool, until the sewing becomes a deconstruction and no longer connects but divides. In this phase I photograph the cardboard lid with light from behind, from one side as well as from the other. The transition from one state into another is fixed – like a tipping moment – in the photograph.
