In search of temperature recordings from the most northerly observatory in Europe, I meet a scientist from the Alfred Wegner Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Ocean Research in Potsdam.

I attribute the colours blue, red, green and black to four rows of numbers giving temperature readings, which each describe a period of two winter and two summer months. I try out different colour attributions. Each of these three works is based on the same figures.
